According to Halliday, “the ability of this vineyard to produce excellent Pinot Noir is beyond doubt” (Halliday Wine Companion 2016). It’s still early days but this Pinot is heading in the right direction.
This is another of those vineyards I pass on my regular buying trips back to Australia – it’s about an hour on from the Yarra Valley, on the other (northern) side of the Great Dividing Range.
There’s no cellar door, and you might need a mud map to find it, but the effort is worthwhile. I brought this up to Singapore mainly for my own drinking, given that Madge & Anna are almost our neighbours (yes, in Australia, someone 30 kilometers away can be a neighbour), but I thought you might be interested to have a look at it too.
